2. Choose a site and give a brief description of sites in France (see below).

-Roman and Romanesque Monuments of Arles

-Palace and parc of Fontainbleau

3. Select a site and develop a presentation for the class :

-You can even dress up as an important person related to your site to
give your presentation.
4. Basic outline to follow for each site to get you started :
-What is its location: region, department, nearest city ?
-When was it built, how long did it take to build ?
-What is its style of archecture? Explain (give détails and examples).
-Who built it ?
-Why was it built, how was it used?
-What is its condition today?
-What do you see when you visit the site ?
-How was it used and how is it used today.
-When was is designated a World Heritage site and why ?
